As part of Aero India 2015, international seminars on topics related to aerospace are all set to begin in the city. The three-day programme, being organised by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI), will witness the participation of representatives from heavyweights like Rolls-Royce, Boeing, Airbus, the Swedish Armed Forces and others. The event will be inaugurated by Defence Secretary Mr. R K Mathur, while Minister of State for Defence Mr. Rao Inderjit Singh will preside. Indian Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, along with government and public sector undertaking representatives will be present. On the occasion, a book by former HAL chairman Dr. C G Krishnadas Nair titled Make in India-Strategy for Partnership will be released. There will be seminars by organisations such as HAL, National Aerospace Laboratory, Aircraft and Systems Training Establishment and others, will witness the participation of the IAF, Aeronautical Development Agency and others. Organisations like Sukhoi, Indian Institute of Science, Bharat Electronics Limited and others will participate. The topics to be discussed include trends in aerospace platforms, avionics and flight controls, systems engineering, weapon systems and advanced structures.
