Bangalore, December 05, 2012: Mr. S.Subrahmanyan has taken over as Managing Director of HAL’s MiG Complex at Nasik. Prior to this, he was Chief of Projects at HAL’s Helicopter Division (Bangalore). A graduate in mechanical engineering from college of engineering, Guindy, Chennai, Mr. Subrahmanyan is also a post-graduate in aircraft production from IIT, Chennai. One of his main tasks at Nasik will be to focus on ensuing new projects at the MiG Complex. Mr. Subrahmanyan joined HAL as Management Trainee in July 1980. He has worked in different capacities at Helicopter Complex, MiG Complex, Bangalore Complex and Corporate Planning. He has contributed significantly in areas of manufacturing, repair and overhaul of helicopters, aircraft and engines, project management, integrated material management, outsourcing and computerization. He has varied experience in indigenous, western and Russian fleets.
