Prying plane in Air Show

After missing two opportunities to fly public in the last four months, India’s yet to be named prying plane – Airborne Early Warning & Control System (AEW&CS) – made its maiden appearance at the Aero India-2013. Scientists and engineers at the Centre for Air Borne Systems (CABS), a Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) lab, which has developed home-grown systems for the plane, are doing ground checks of the aircraft.
