The much-awaited Indian Mars mission is now in the last stage of approval, and soon there’ll be an announcement about the government’s go-ahead, ISRO chairman Dr K Radhakrishnan announced. At a media interaction on the eve of the 39th scientific assembly of the Committee on Space Research (Cospar-2012 ), at the Mr N R Narayana Murthy Centre of Excellence at the Infosys campus in Mysore, he said once the green signal is received, the mission will lift off from Sriharikota either in November 2013 or 2016 or 2018. Many studies have been done relating to this mission, he said.
